Full Job Description

  • Communication Facilitation: Liaise with Project Quantity Surveyors to ensure accurate certification of claims.

  • Financial Record Management: Maintain precise accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

  • Payment Run Management: Produce a weekly payment run for Director approval.

  • Invoicing and Payments: Handle invoicing processes, coordinate with clients/vendors for timely payments, and process payments accurately.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary changes for compliance.

  • Expense Management: Review and process employee expense claims, analyse expenses for cost-saving opportunities.

  • Weekly Payroll: Validate time sheets and complete weekly payroll.

  • Utility and Insurance Management: Monitor and renew office utilities and business insurances, including PI, Public, and Employers.

    Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts role - Essential.

  • Solid knowledge and experience using Xero - Essential.

  • Experience working within the Construction Industry - Desirable.

As an Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our Quantity Surveyors and project teams, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

    Salary: Based on experience £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.
