Full Job Description

As a Accounts Payable Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide support and general cover within the Accounts Payable Team.

Day-to-day, you'll report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will predominately support the accounts payable activities. These activities include but are not limited to the following key duties: Invoice processing, payment runs, supporting supplier queries and resolution, review work queue and mailbox management. Further responsibilities include:

  • High Volume (100 - 150 on a daily basis) processing of invoices and credit notes effectively on behalf of the businesses

  • Reconciliation of key supplier statements and adherence to timetable

  • Understand processing requirements for Service Level Agreements and ensure they are met or exceeded

  • Ensuring effective, accurate and timely response to queries and resolving exceptions with suppliers and business partners

  • Escalation of any issues faced in satisfying the customer demands


  • This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with the option to go on site every Wednesday.

    Essential experience of the Accounts Payable Administrator:
  • Processing invoices in an ERP system (SAP OR COUPA - Training will be provided)

  • Ability to input and process accurately

  • Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail

  • Work as part of a team, sharing knowledge and associated experiences

  • Support colleagues and ensure communication is clear and concise

  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality in respect to the work undertaken

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
