More detail about the role: We have the exciting opportunity to appoint a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join our enthusiastic Community Therapy Team for 37.5 hours a week, based in Ilfracombe at the Tyrrell Hospital. We are looking for a practical, proactive and passionate individual with good communication skills. We are looking for an applicant with experience of working in a care or rehabilitation setting who is eager to work in our multidisciplinary Community Therapy team. The role addresses health promotion, rehabilitation, equipment provision and urgent, unplanned work to prevent hospital admission and support discharge from the acute setting. The post holder will be an integral part of the team in terms of service delivery and development. Band 3 applicants for recruitment under Band 3 salary, terms and conditions who would be keen to progress via the Trainee Assistant Practitioner programme.
