Automated Gate Installation Assistant / Trainee

We are seeking an installation assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation of automated and manually operated gates, railings and steel products and this will also include electrical, telecommunication, and CCTV systems. The role requires proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting drawings and diagrams and carrying out work precisely with care and diligence., Assisting with the installation of automated and manually operated gate systems and complementing components to include the configuration of electrical systems in accordance to wiring diagrams
- Set up keypads, intercoms, photocells and safety devices associated with the automated gates
- Installation and maintenance of electrical components, control boards CCTV and entry systems
- Interpret and follow schematics to complete installations accurately
- Restocking the installation van with consumables
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to assemble components effectively
- Operate power tools safely during installation tasks

Proven experience in installing electrical, telecommunication, or CCTV systems
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude for handling assembly tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with system design principles and practices

- Gate installation experience preferable but full on the job training will be provided
