Bookkeeper

GH Launch Ltd are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their team, on a full-time permanent basis. As a company GH Launch provide business advice, accountancy support and bookkeeping services nationwide, exclusively for the independent automotive repair industry.

This is a new and exciting department within the company and we are looking for someone seeking a new opportunity, who will be happy to commit to the role and the business long-term. The role offers exposure to all areas of a busy finance function with plans to expand in the very near future.

The ideal candidate will be driven, with an organised & logical approach to their work. You should be able to work independently using your initiative and work within a small, busy team.

Duties of the Bookkeeper will include (but are not limited to):

· Purchase ledger reconciliation

· Weekly bank reconciliations

· Supplier statement reconciliations

· Providing payment runs for clients

· Posting of payroll/wages journals

· Preparing monthly financial statements including profit & loss and balance sheets

· Preparing VAT returns

· Creating ad-hoc reports where necessary

· Have general knowledge of accounting systems, processes and all aspects of bookkeeping

· Have previous experience in a similar role

· Be able to create and maintain great relationships with strong communication skills

· Be a great team player and also be able to use your own initiative

· Have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Dynamics experience is desirable but not essential.

· Have the ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
