CAD Draughtsperson (AutoCAD 2D)

The successful candidate will report directly into the design office manager with your key areas of responsibility including producing customer approval, manufacturing and installation drawings to various specifications whilst meeting short lead times. You will be required to liaise with customers, our sales teams, and our site surveyors for relevant details, and implement/assist with improving existing systems and designs.

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering.


• Stress calculating capacity would be preferred but is not essential.


• Experience of working within a busy design team.


• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.


• Be a strong problem solver.


• Capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  The starting salary will be based on relevant experience, with other medical benefits available after successful training. The working hours will be 9am - 5:30pm with a 45 minute lunch break, Monday to Friday, and we would like candidates to be flexible when needed to meet deadlines.
