Commercial Co-Ordinator

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Assistant to ensure all contract activity is in line with the commercial model agreed for the contract. You will be a key point of contact for support to the team and be involved in developing and implementing robust commercial and financial processes and procedures across the contract.

You should be capable of developing the key commercial processes including contract variation and additional works processes to identify and capture items over contract LOL and the commercial / finance implication of performance model. You should ensure that the operations team are aware of key contractual commercial requirements, and implications of non-performance. Alongside the commercial manager, you will act as a key point of support to operational colleagues for any related commercial implications of supplier non-performance.

You will be IT literate (e.g. MS packages including Excel) as well as have financial, commercial and customer knowledge. You will also have excellent numerical and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a highly pressurised and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in Commercial team and have background in Facilities Management or a multi-site operation. You should also have knowledge of contract models, e.g., Cost plus, fixed price, shared savings, GMP, etc and ability to develop and manage commercial processes.
