Cupcake Sales Assistant

We are looking for someone to join our team to attend events and sell in our Cupcake and Ice Cream Van

GlamoRose Cakes is a Cupcake company in Swindon, with a shop on the High Street in Old Town! We pride ourselves in selling delicious cupcakes, traybakes and birthday cakes - which are all hand-made in our specialist cake kitchen. We have a very small, close-knit family of employees, who all absolutely love what they do, and we are looking to add another member to our team!

The latest addition to the business is our beautiful pink, sparkly GlamoRose Cupcake Van - which is covered in pictures of cupcakes and sprinkles, and has a serving hatch on the side where you can sell our cakes! We have just also invested in an Ice Cream Van ready for the summer, and we have lots of events and visits booked in around Swindon and beyond!

The role we are recruiting for is someone to sell at our events. This could either be in our Cupcake Van, in our Ice Cream Van or taking a gazebo set-up in your car, and selling our cakes from there! The ideal person would have a passion for selling, feel comfortable to run events on their own, and be confident enough to drive the vans with training. Some of the events can get very busy, and can be a lot of physical work, so you would need to be happy working in a fast-paced environment, as well as physically capable of lifting.

The hours would be in the week during term-time, as most of our bookings currently are visiting schools, but you would need to be available during the weekends too if needed. You need to have a clean driving license and be over 25 for this role, to get insured on the van - please do not apply if you're not able to drive.
