Design Assistant

We are currently seeking a Design Assistant. If you are a creative thinker who is fluent in Mandarin and passionate about design and studio operations, this opportunity might be the perfect fit for you.

Assist in product photo shoots, ensuring photo quality meets standards
- Assist in image editing
- Aid in packaging and preparing customer orders, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist in maintaining and organizing the studio, keeping the workspace clean and orderly
- Assist with other tasks related to design and studio management

Fluent in spoken Mandarin
- Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese factories
- Basic design knowledge and proficiency in design software is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and responsible
- Eagerness and ability to learn new skills

Specific needs

The position offers flexible work arrangements to accommodate your academic schedule. You can work a minimum of 2 days per week or full-time, with working hours from 9:30 to 5:00. We will provide proof of long-term or short-term internship experience. There is also the potential to transition into a full-time employee.

Ouka is a clothing and accessories factory headquartered in Zhejiang, China, serving primarily high-end fashion brands from the United States, the Netherlands, and France. Currently, we are establishing market channels in London, with our studio located in Kingston.
