Full Job Description

  • Assist the Accounts Payable function by promptly processing invoices and credit notes,


  • allocating them to the relevant purchase orders, and following up on outstanding
    invoices and supplier queries.
  • Support business teams with the Purchase Order system to ensure all invoices are


  • supported by approved POs.

  • Manage proforma invoices, ensuring timely payment and receipt of VAT invoices from


  • suppliers, and accurately allocate them in the system.
  • Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and


  • completeness of financial records.

  • Process credit cards expenses efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies.


  • Assist with month-end tasks, including bank postings and reconciliations, to support


  • timely financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of systems and processes to enhance efficiency and


  • effectiveness in PO, invoice, and payment processes.

    We're looking for a full time or part-time Finance Assistant to come and join our friendly finance
    team, to start as soon as possible in our offices at Mylor Bridge. We are a well-established
    business, and due to continued growth we require someone who is keen to work in a fast
    paced, varied finance role.

    We are looking for someone to work in the region of 30-40 hours per week. We can be flexible on
    the exact number of hours and work pattern for the right candidate.
