Full Job Description

· You will coordinate purchase orders, GRN's and electronic purchase ledger documents in line with compliance and best practice

· You will create and maintain supplier records and weekly invoice reports

· You will process weekly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements for the organisation along with updating cadre accounts

· You will raise orders, journals on other financial systems such as the purchase order system, general ledger, and housing management system.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Accountant in relation to purchase ledgers with producing appropriate financial and business information to deadline., · You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A0C) including Maths and English

· You will be a part qualified member of the AAT or similar

· You will be experienced in purchase ledger producing accurate work and using initiative

· You will have good written and verbal communication skills

· You will be a problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively

· You will be proficient in PC applications such as Microsoft

· Knowledge of VAT is desirable.
