Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for finance and data? Join us as the Finance & Data Officer and play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of Bitterne Park School!, As the Finance & Data Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely financial information to support decision-making.,

  • Process financial transactions, including invoicing, expenses, and budget allocations.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and school policies.

  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support budgeting and financial planning.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.

  • Support the procurement process, ensuring value for money and compliance with procurement policies.

  • Manage and update the school's financial systems and databases.

    Strong proficiency in financial and data analysis, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.

  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience in financial administration or a similar role.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
