Finance Officer

You will supervise two Finance Assistants and, as a team, be responsible for promptly and accurately raising the Authority's debtors and paying its creditors. You will also be responsible for the completion of a range of financial reconciliations and for supporting other finance team members in the provision of financial information, completion of returns and preparation of the budget.

• AAT or equivalent


• Experience of working within a financial environment and evidence of providing excellent customer service


• Experience of working with large financial ledger systems


• Experience of Creditors and Debtors


• Good ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Word


This is a fast paced environment requiring flexibility and a strong focus on team work, support and prioritisation in order to meet tight deadlines.
