About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Analyst to join our UK finance team. As a FP&A Analyst you will have a keen eye for detail to support & drive profitability improvement initiatives across the organisation, covering profitability evaluation, analysis & reporting disciplines.
Working as part of a small UK Finance team you will have the opportunity to proactively shape and influence the scope of this role, flexing to concentrate on the areas of biggest value-add.
What you can expect to be getting up to as a FP&A Analyst

  • Liaising with all parts of the business to understand and drive improvement in financial performance, proactively identifying potential cost reduction and revenue growth opportunities.

  • Efficiently interrogating various internal systems to extract relevant data and bring together into coherent and insightful analysis.

  • Analyse the drivers of success and highlight areas of risk within our business.

  • Building and maintaining financial models, reports, and dashboards to improve the consistency of financial reporting.

  • Reporting, allocation and analysis of Freight costs, identifying incorrect charges and working with the Transport team and carriers to get charges cancelled.

  • Profitability and revenue recognition analysis for subscription deals which span across multiple years.

  • Issuing varied monthly reports including Market Share and Sales Productivity.

  • Producing ad hoc financial analysis to support key stakeholders.

    Advanced excel skills and the ability to organise and manipulate large quantities of data.

  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI

  • Experience of navigating a number of Enterprise systems to extract core data.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - ability to breakdown problems before identifying trends and drawing conclusions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate sophisticated issues, adapting style for different audiences.

  • Building relationships - ability to work cross-functionally, building strong relationships while challenging the status quo.

  • A proactive and agile approach with the ability to work autonomously.
