Golf Professional

Hartlepool Golf Club is seeking a PGA Head Professional to work alongside the current management team.

Founded in 1906 this James Braid designed course, which boasts spectacular coastal views, will co-host the 2024 English Amateur Championships.

Complementing the 18 hole course is a 5 hole academy course, a dedicated purpose built short game area and a 6 bay floodlight driving range with a separate teaching bay + fitting studio.

The successful candidate will;

. Provide a welcoming one stop shop for both members and visitors

. Assist with the management of daily start sheets, competitions and collection of visitor's fees.

. Develop a coaching programme for both members and non-members

. Operate a golf shop that provides expert advice, regular member updates, and a high quality custom fitting and repair service

Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills coupled with proven commercial acumen.

. Be a first class coach

. Possess the drive, determination and enthusiasm to contribute to the future development of the Club.

. Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a fully qualified PGA Professional is required.
