Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Legal Assistant with expertise in Pakistani law, particularly in areas such as cross-border child arrangements, divorces, jurisdictional issues, and property matters. This position is crucial for serving our UK clients who possess assets in Pakistan and require legal assistance in managing their affairs., Provide comprehensive support to the supervisor in case management and workload distribution.

  • Offer expertise and guidance on matters related to Pakistani law, including but not limited to family law and property law.

  • Conduct research, gather evidence, and prepare legal documents as necessary to support cases involving cross-border child arrangements, divorces, jurisdictional issues, and property matters.

  • Act as an interpreter for clients who are not proficient in English, facilitating communication and ensuring accurate transmission of instructions in Urdu.

  • Collaborate with local legal firms and professionals to coordinate efforts and achieve desired outcomes for our clients.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents in Pakistan to provide informed advice and representation.

  • Assist in liaising with clients, drafting correspondence, and managing documentation related to legal proceedings and transactions.

    Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Pakistani law, with a focus on family law and property law.

  • Proven experience working in legal settings, preferably with exposure to cross-border legal matters.

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Urdu.

  • Strong research and analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex legal documents and statutes.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage workload priorities.

  • Familiarity with legal procedures and practices in Pakistan, including court processes and documentation requirements.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and correspondence.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving legal landscapes and stay abreast of changes in Pakistani law., Legal Secretary: 1 year (preferred)

  • Pay: £26,000.00-£48,568.23 per year
