An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated park maintenance warden assistant at Tan Rallt Holiday home Park. Tan Rallt , an established five star holiday park, is part of the Pario leisure Group Holiday Parks located on the North coast of Wales. The park accommodates 140 luxury static caravan and lodge holiday homes, all of which are owner occupied.
The position mainly involves grounds maintenance and handyman duties with responsibilities including grass cutting, gardening, upholding the general appearance of the park and attending to caravans in the event of services failure and connecting new units to park services.
The position would be 35 -40 hour, five day working positions with weekend work required and bank holiday working will also be necessary.
As part of our team , you will help the Maintenance Manager to ensure everything is in good working order. Your work will include:
The role will involve:
- Landscaping, including paving and fencing
- Mowing lawns , leaf clearing ,Strimming and Hedge cutting
- Moving and siting Caravans, including external Plumbing
- Painting, decorating, and tiling
- Maintenance jobs; everything from replacing light bulbs to troubleshooting faulty locks and cutting keys
- Carrying out maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, working with other tradespeople when necessary
- Working mainly outdoors in all weather.
- Keep the park and facilities attractive, welcoming, safe and free of litter
- Operate well as part of a closely working team.
- Pretty much anything else that other people can't do!
· Knowledge of general handyman duties is an advantage.
Guests and staff will look to you to fix what's broken and restore order, so you will need to be confident, friendly and obliging in addition to your practical skills.
