Full Job Description

Due to an increase in workload, Ultraflux NDT Ltd are looking to add to their team of Site NDT Technicians to support our growing list of customers, across the UK.

Our Site Technicians travel around the UK, to different sites on a daily basis, carrying out NDT across a multitude of industries, ranging from Structural, Rail, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Food, Renewable Energy etc.

You will be provided with a vehicle, fuel cards and laptop and all applicable equipment.

The right candidate will receive a salary based on their experience and knowledge. All staff receive 25 days annual leave per year, plus all Bank Holidays.

Duties:

- Conduct non-destructive testing using methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspection
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings
- Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance personnel to address any identified issues
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration accuracy

Previous experience in a Non-Destructive Testing role

- PCN Level 2 Qualifications in MPI & DPI as a minimum - UT (3.1 & 3.2), and VT would be advantageous

- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and procedures
- Ability to analyse data accurately and make informed decisions based on findings

- Dealing with customers face to face would be beneficial

To be successful in this role, we require someone who has an attention to detail; good problem-solving skills, and someone who can show good initiative, with a positive work ethic.

You will also be expected to work in accordance with Company/Client procedures, and HSE legislation.
