Full Job Description

Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Observe and monitor children's behavior, documenting any concerns or milestones
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery
- Assist with daily routines such as diaper changing, feeding, and potty training
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. If you have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and a passion for early childhood education, we would love to hear from you., Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children while maintaining a safe environment
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support children's learning and development

The right candidate will be part of a small staff team and will be included in staff appreciation meals and team building events.

A childcare qualification, level 2 or above is essential.,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)

    We are offering work on a part time or full time basis and we are flexible with working hours between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday daytimes only.


  • Any appropriate training will be provided.

    All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview ,complete an enhanced DBS and provide suitable references.
