Full Job Description

You will be required to work as part of the dispensary and logistics team, supplying stock to the ward, dispensing prescriptions for inpatient and outpatients and covering the Pharmacy reception.

You will have received a good standard of general education and have attained a GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics and English (or equivalent) .If not already held you must be willing to work towards achieving an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services within an agreed timescale which will mean doing a proportion of work in your own time in order to achieve this.
You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and willing to develop with new ways of working. Attention to detail is important and you must be able to work as part of a team but also able to demonstrate initiative and work in a professional and timely manner. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and have a flexible approach to the needs of the service. Computer literacy is required although appropriate training on pharmacy systems will be provided.
There is expectation to partake in the Saturday, Sundays and Bank holiday rota (1 in 6)
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
