Full Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are now looking for Plate Fitters to join our busy team based in Brownhills Area. Your daily duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Tack welding with MIG, Stick and TIG welding equipment
- Calculating and interpreting complex math and drawings
- Deconstruct a drawing of fabrication to its parts to create a cutting list
- Laying out the job, using a dumpy level
- Correcting distortion in angles and tubes using oxyacetylene equipment
- Using an overhead crane
- Following health and safety regulations
- Relevant skills to be tested upon interview
Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Essential) - Be confident with MIG, STICK and TIG welding (Requirement)
- Experience in the fitting flange, elbow, socket and tree pipe (Advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications (Essential)
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Quick learner
- Be able to follow all health and safety regulations
