Full Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will hold a key role within the PMO function within a fast paced, exciting, and growing company (45% year-on-year for the past 3 years). We need you to manage projects in a precise and effective manner, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are satisfied. This role brings multiple functions together to successfully deliver demanding, sometimes complex, and often time-hungry projects. This role will be based in our Milton Keynes Head Office.

You will work with our clients to deliver a best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the project meets their needs

  • Manage third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure that they deliver on their commitments and meet our quality standards

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

  • Keep all project board updated and maintained

  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date

  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the company's project management methodology

  • Coach and mentor less experienced project managers and project team members

    At least 5 years of experience in IT project management

  • Strong skills in Business Stakeholder Management, 3rd Party Vendor Management

  • Experience delivering a range of IT related projects, Applications and Infrastructure

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.

  • Experience using PMO tools i.e. MS Projects, Monday, Smartsheets

  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, Prince2, etc.

  • Be highly collaborative with the wider delivery team, management structure and business leaders.

    £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
