Full Job Description

The Role - Project Manager Mission Solutions Reporting to the Programme Director Jaco Loubser you will be responsible for project delivery across the Mission Solutions portfolio, leading project teams of technical personnel in support of the delivery of complete Special Mission fit-out solutions for aircraft, whilst supporting the operational management functions with active projects, including client liaison activities.

We work in a hybrid manner; you will be expected to attend an office on average 2 days per week. We work 8-5pm but have core hours of 10-3pm., Where are we? The team are based across a number of offices in Bournemouth Bristol Stokenchurch and Corsham, and you are welcome to work from any but travel to other offices will be required in line with Business needs.

The Team - Aerospace Integration and Test (AIT) Aerospace Integration and Test (AIT) team is led by Julian Lee - Executive General Manager and Ronnie Trasler - General Manager. This team are responsible for the effective leadership and management of the aerospace design, production and support function. This role reports into the the Programme Director Jaco Loubser.

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering aerospace related projects.


  • Demonstrated history of working directly with customers at a project delivery and technical level.


  • Flexibility to travel domestically within UK and to European and global destinations to achieve project outcomes.


  • Proven leadership experience of small teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.


  • Experience with managing supplier performance.


  • Proven commercial acumen.


  • Desirable:
  • Experience and background working in or with an EASA/UK CAA Part 21 Subpart J design organisation, to include familiarity with design processes as well as project management.


  • Experience working in or with EASA/UK CAA Part 21G production organisations.


  • Background and experience working with EASA/UK CAA Part 145 maintenance organisations for aircraft modifications.


  • Sound understanding of an aerospace regulatory framework (e.g. EASA, UK CAA, FAA, DAOS, etc).


  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering integration of special mission solutions for aircraft.
