Full Job Description

As a Children's Residential Worker, you will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children's Services, offering care and support to children with Learning Disabilities providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child. You will build effective relationships with the children, support them with routine (personal care may be required), join the children in activities and holidays, creating meaningful care plans, working together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date. These are just some examples of the work you will do that will support our children and young people with their everyday lives and in return you will be enrolled into a diploma (Level 3 Children and Young People) which will be funded by Amegreen (terms and eligibility will be reviewed prior to an interview).

    This role has a starting salary of £23,795.20 per annum based on a 40-hour week plus sleep in's (you'll earn £45 for a weekday sleep-in and £50 at the weekend) but additional overtime is available should you wish to do more.,
