Do you have experience in a property maintenance role?

Our Central Maintenance Team have a vacancy for a mobile Trust Maintenance Officer based in Nottingham covering our 22 Nottinghamshire sites. You will deliver outstanding maintenance and development services to our schools, will be enthusiastic, energetic, well-motivated and able to think outside of the box. You will use your initiative, experience and skills to provide a first-class service at all times. You will contribute towards development and maintenance plans and work with the Trust Maintenance Manager to ensure their effective implementation.

This role is practical, fast-paced and physical, but also hugely satisfying allowing the successful applicant to maintain buildings, facilities, equipment and plant to a high standard, designing and building innovative solutions that genuinely enhance the lives of staff and children in our care.

This is a permanent full time role starting working 37 hours per week, all year round.

About the role:

With relevant experience in a facilities maintenance role and with excellent attention to detail, you will have a good understanding of routine maintenance in a practical working environment ensuring that planned maintenance is carried according to schedules and that breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently and will have an awareness of current Health & Safety legislation.

  • Deliver outstanding maintenance and development services to our schools.

  • Be enthusiastic, energetic, well-motivated and able to think outside of the box.

  • Will use your initiative, experience and skills to provide a first-class service at all times.

  • Have relevant experience in a facilities maintenance role.

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a facilities maintenance role.

  • Full UK driver's licence with suitable trailer towing category.

  • Ensure that all works, and projects are carried out within timescales as agreed with the Trust Maintenance Manager.

  • Be a positive influence on the climate and culture of the Trust, support the Catholic Ethos and be a positive example at all times.
