Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within the Trust's Programme Management Office for a Senior Programme Lead to help the Trust achieve its programmes of work. Working within a multi-disciplinary team and interacting with departments across the Trust, this role plays a key part in the Trust delivering both improvement and sustainability requirements., The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that assigned programmes across the Trust deliver a sufficient Benefits Profile to meet the Trust's strategic objectives and sustainability requirements. This will be through taking responsibility to support and challenge project and programme teams to maximise benefits delivery through offering expert advice and utilising programme management methodologies. The programmes may be clinical or non-clinical and cover a variety of deliverables, including operational performance, financial performance, service issues and clinical quality improvement.

The post holder will provide line management responsibilities within the team ensuring effective ways of working at all times. They will also be responsible for facilitating progress and providing practical support to the teams impacted on by the programmes to take forward quality improvement / waste reduction and new ways of working. The post holder will support the Head of Programmes to ensure alignment and delivery of the Trust's goals and priorities across the wider portfolio of programme work.
