Full Job Description

Pro currently has some exciting opportunities for Technical Analysts to join our Insurance Services teams on a permanent basis.

The job holder will meet all Client service levels, deliverables and deadlines for the processing of Insurance documentation.

This role will enable the job holder to develop their insurance knowledge further and build on their customer / client relationship skills.

Pro operates a hybrid working model and this role will be working mainly from home, with travel to the Gloucester or Liverpool office on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Insurance tasks within client systems in an accurate and efficient manner.

  • Ability to quality control processing work and identify anomalies and errors.

  • Training new members of the team and providing ongoing assistance for the resolution of queries raised by the client or members of the team.

  • Dealing with clients in a professional manner over the phone or via email.

  • Monitor client KPIs and SLAs.

  • Assist or run client reports, calls and meetings.

  • Build and maintain good relationships with client counterparts.

  • Produce MI based on static or clearly defined requirements being communicated.

  • Respond to questions & challenges independently in a specific area of expertise, supporting others where necessary.

  • Review processed work completed by other team members and feedback any findings.

    Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel at an Intermediate level is desirable.

  • Understanding of principles of insurance is essential.

  • Good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills when dealing with Client situations.

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the insurance market is essential.

  • Knowledge of various classes of business, such as marine, energy and non-marine, specialty and casualty is desirable.

  • Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients.

  • Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
