Translator

We are seeking a skilled Translator to join our team. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between individuals who speak different languages. Duties:

- Translate written and verbal communications from one language to another accurately and efficiently.

- Ensure the meaning and context of the original message is preserved during the translation process.

- Collaborate with clients or colleagues to understand their translation needs and requirements.

- Utilize translation tools and software to enhance productivity and accuracy.

- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.

- Conduct research as needed to ensure accurate translation of specialized terminology or industry-specific jargon.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Proficiency in at least two languages, including English.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both the source and target languages.

- Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions in both languages.

- Ability to accurately convey tone, style, and nuances of the original message.

- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.

- Cultural sensitivity and awareness when translating materials from one culture to another.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in translation software or tools is a plus.
