Full Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and organised Transport Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our transport operation.

Main Job Purpose

Ensure the Transport Management System is continually updated with changes and all jobs progressed from collection to delivery.

Provide admin support to the team by ensuring that all the relevant information is populated on TMS in timely manner and relevant information communicated to third parties and customers.

Communicate any issues with all stake holders both internally & externally., Daily Tasks

  • Accept all orders received and input onto TMS

  • Booking collections and deliveries

  • Setting up and updating standard jobs

  • Updating rate sheets

  • Customers' platform updates

  • Providing subcontractors with customs information

  • Completing jobs once the deliveries are done

  • Booking ferries/trains; sending orders to hauliers

  • Creating GMRs and security declarations on web platforms

  • Providing truck details to customers and third parties

  • Assist the Operations Manager with customer administration tasks.

  • Any ad hoc duties


  • Expectations
  • Be pro-active and communicate effectively with the Support Planners, ensuring all operational issues are escalated appropriately.

  • Ensure 100% accuracy of data entry into operating systems.

  • Support the whole team where required, learning roles and tasks to ensure cover can be provided for sickness and holiday and to support personal development.

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • Transport Administration: 2 years (preferred)

  • English (required)
