The Details:
Title: Ultimate Survival Camp Leader
Contract: Seasonal work available in summer school holidays
Hours: 8am - 6pm weekdays. Where bookings allow, an additional 3 hours may be required on Thursday nights for an all camp cook out dinner.
Summary of Position:
Deliver a successful Outdoor Education Programme, our Ultimate Survival Programme
Ensure the welfare and safety of the children
Manage and support a team of Ultimate Survival Instructors
Deliver outstanding, structured activities (outdoor education, bushcraft)
Act as a key point of contact for parents, Head Office, host school, staff and children

• Experience within outdoor education, with a specific focus on bushcraft.


• Significant experience working with children in an outdoor setting.


• Management/supervisory experience


• Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and outdoor education industry.


Desirable Requirements:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience


• Experience taking sole charge of a group of children


• Hold relevant NGBs or experience in all or some of the following: canoeing, archery, bushcraft, slacklining, or environmental studies.


• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or Outdoor First Aid qualification
