Full Job Description

We seek a passionate and dedicated individual to lead on the development and delivery of the Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership (YMNP) as part of a temporary contract covering maternity leave for a maximum of 12 months.

Duties include facilitating and leading the ongoing work of the Partnership, focusing on the collaborative and co-ordinated management of our natural heritage. You will build on local expertise and current relationships to engage with new partners, progress active projects and seek new opportunities for the Partnership's development.

We are looking for an individual who can clearly communicate relevant issues to help build strong relationships with a wide range of partners, relevant authorities and key stakeholders. You should also be able to work across multiple projects and have strong organisational skills. Experience of policy/strategy development in a multi-agency environment is required as is knowledge of the current government policy relating to the natural environment.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject and have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities relating to the heritage of Yorkshire's coastal and marine environment.

Based at County Hall, Beverley for 37 hours per week, however this is flexible. Part-time and secondment options will be considered.
