Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen within Pay, Reward and Employment Services for two temporary Support Officers working 37 hours per week. Working within a supportive and friendly team and based within modern, newly refurbished accommodation, the Support Officers are key posts within the team. The posts are temporary until 31st March 2025., Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer. You will need NVQ Level 2 qualification in Business Administration or an equivalent relevant qualification or experience in an office environment with for example, payroll, HR or finance related duties.
