We have an opportunity to join the new Enforcement Digital Services (EDS) Team in the Compliance and Enforcement Team within Future Regulation (see "The Team" below).

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to support the EDS Team and allow us to function in an efficient, accurate, informed, and strategic way. There is scope to shape this role to make the best use of your skills and to enable you to develop. You will have an opportunity to be involved in various work areas that enable you to gain a wide breadth of knowledge and experience and to expand your networks.

The role will include:
- Creating and maintaining a 'map' of enforcement digital services
- Assisting in forward planning and establishing a 'conveyor belt' of upgrades or replacements for our enforcement digital services
- Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders across regimes to gather information and use this to help prioritise and shape our digital initiatives
- Support the transition of new enforcement IT systems to business as usual
- Develop or update training guides and materials associated with the service
- Extend our SharePoint Online presence to a wider EDS scope with pages and content, and keep them up to date
The team
The Future Compliance and Enforcement Team is a dispersed national team that sits within the Chief Regulators Group in Environment and Business.

Within the Compliance and Enforcement Team sits the Enforcement Digital Services Team, a small, newly-established team which will set the strategic direction and priorities of all digital services that have a link to our enforcement activities.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of enforcement, who holds relevant transferable skills and capabilities., Be organised, motivated, and able to prioritise and balance your workload effectively to support the team
- Be flexible to react to new opportunities and uncertainty, and able to adapt to changing team priorities and the business's needs
- Have initiative to spot what needs doing and have a good level of assertiveness to offer alternative ideas or ways of doing things
- Take responsibility for work areas and be relied upon to ensure tasks are achieved
- Be able to communicate confidently and professionally with people across different teams who undertake enforcement activities
- Have good attention to detail, be conscientious and diligent in completing tasks to a good standard
- Be able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues /partners in dispersed networks
