Full Job Description

In addition to duties outlined within the job description, the postholder will play a pivotal role in:
+ Providing high quality supervision to psychological therapies staff.
+ Providing access to consultation and case discussion with MDT members.
+ Supporting the development and delivery of training and CPD opportunities for MDT members.
+ Working in conjunction with the teams' triumvirate leadership team to enable the provision of high quality psychological therapies in line with clinical pathways and evidence-based practice.
+ Be responsible for the provision of direct psychological therapies and manage own caseload. The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, pro-active and passionate Senior Psychological Therapist to support the overall clinical leadership, clinical governance, and provision of high quality psychological therapies services to young adults accessing the East Suffolk (Ipswich) and Central Suffolk (Stowmarket) youth mental health services.
