Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Study Coordinator to support the ENSEMBLE Dementia Research Study at the Bristol Medical School. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at improving dementia diagnosis and care pathways in primary care. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the study, engaging with primary care practices, and supporting the development of training packages for healthcare professionals.What will you be doing?

  • Managing the day-to-day coordination of the ENSEMBLE feasibility trial, ensuring adherence to protocol and research governance.
  • Engaging with GP practices, Health Care Assistants (HCAs), and research stakeholders to facilitate participant recruitment.
  • Organizing and supporting training sessions for clinicians on dementia assessment protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with research ethics and governance, including submission of IRAS applications.
  • Leading the IRAS ethics application and governance
  • Supporting data collection and analysis, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assisting in the dissemination of study findings through reports, presentations, and publications.

    You have a master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant health or research-related field.
  • You have experience coordinating clinical research studies, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • You have knowledge of research governance, ethics, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • You have excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You are familiar with UK primary care systems and have experience working with GPs and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in dementia research, IRAS applications, and electronic health record management is desirable but not essential.
