Full Job Description
Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.
What you'll be responsible for:
Reporting to the Group Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices, bills, and payments are processed accurately and on time. You will maintain financial records, supporting the wider finance team and provide administrative assistance related to the businesses accounts payable function.
Typically, your day-to-day will involve tasks such as invoice processing, raising queries and non-conformances against invoice discrepancies, processing payments, purchase order reconciliation, communicating with vendors and supporting with the month-end closing process.
This will be an 12 month fixed term contract position with a hybrid working arrangement. Typically, you will be based on-site 2-3 days per week with flexibility to work remotely when required. The position can be based between either our commercial office in Leeds, or Stokesley site in Teesside.
Demonstrable background in an accounts payable focused or general accounting role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with a variety of colleagues at different levels across the organisation
- Ability to organise and time-manage effectively along with handling multiple priorities and deadlines
