Full Job Description
- Develop safe, legally compliant engineering solutions and verify / validate they satisfy project requirements.
- Produce detail design drawings in accordance with applicable codes, standards and procedures.
- Produce engineering documentation to influence and provide evidence of the design process.
- Source ideas and innovation from multiple sources to achieve the optimum engineered solution.
- Undertake technical reviews and conduct risk assessments.
Experienced in mechanical design engineering within a regulated industry (nuclear preferred). - Breadth of demonstrable experience of design and detailing plant and equipment.
- Understands and can apply design codes, standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology and common project management practices.
- Degree qualified or Level 6 equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, ACTEMIUM Design, a trading name of North West Projects Limited, has over 35-years' experience of multidiscipline engineering design across the full project lifecycle, including support through manufacture, testing and installation/commissioning in both the nuclear and non-nuclear environment.
