Full Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit an Activities Coordinator. Within the role the successful candidate will provide and co-ordinate activities of a social and enabling nature for residents living in our Extra Care Courts. You will provide assistance, support and encouragement to residents living at the Court, through the provision of a varied programme of activities, while you also review and monitor the service, encouraging user participation and feedback.   • Experience of working with older people and people with disabilities
  • Awareness of the needs of older people
  • NVQ in health/care (desirable)
  • First aid (desirable)
  • Basic hygiene (desirable)
  • Moving and handling (desirable)
  • Prepared to undertake further training where appropriate
