Full Job Description
- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication.
- Be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
- Become familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- As you will be working in a care environment you must be aware at all times of confidentiality and the sharing of information in an appropriate manner in line with business requirements and expectations.
- At least 1 year experience of working within a company in an Administration role.
Experience in working with Young People in Care is desirable but not essential as training can be given., The Administration Assistant should have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. - In the future, you may also be required to direct and lead the work of others.
- You will need to have the experience and judgment that enables you to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Your role will sit across all teams and therefore you must always be flexible and versatile.
- The successful candidate will have various prerequisite skills such as a high level organisational, administrative and clerical skills, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
- Excellent results at the GCSE level in English and maths.
- Strong results at A-level or a relevant college course.
- A Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration is desirable
- A degree in business studies, business administration or a similar subject. However, higher education is not always essential All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered on the DBS update service. Candidates will be asked to provide a minimum of five years references and successfully pass all safeguarding checks.
