Are you an administration professional with strong organisational skills, and eye for detail and a passion for leadership? The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager. The MHSTs are a nationally driven initiative which offers educational based mental health early intervention to children and young people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The service are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who can develop a dynamic administration team to support the expansion and transformation of our services. The service work flexibly from sites across Leicester and Leicestershire, you will be expected to travel into and work from bases throughout the working week. The successful candidate will join a friendly and dedicated multi-disciplinary team, receive a thorough induction package and regular supervision and guidance., You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and line management of administration staff including allocation and management of resources, recruitment, appraisal, absence and performance management. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality administration to support the efficient delivery of the clinical service. The role involves working closely with clinical and managerial colleagues in the teams. You will support services to deliver on performance and quality indicators, as well as taking an innovative approach to facilitating service improvement. The role requires you to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), train staff and develop competency frameworks. The post holder will need to ensure that the policies, procedures and SOPs are adhered to and updated from an administration perspective to support improved patient service co-ordination and required efficiency. We are looking for individuals who can:
- Respond dynamically to service priorities on a daily basis.
- Take a proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
- Drive high standards of professionalism.
- Motivate and support staff using a compassionate approach.
- Utilise strong leadership skills to support a team though change. Utilise excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Plan and develop Standard Operating Procedures in line with Trust policy.
