Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Lancaster Farms, a Category C male prison located on the outskirts of Lancaster.
This is a fantastic new opportunity to join the healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported.
Hours:
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 with some flexibility on start / finish times.

  • Experience within an administrative role / setting - any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage

  • Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)

  • Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports

    This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £26,145 per annum - depending on experience.

    As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times

  • Provide a high quality admin service to the healthcare team

  • Assist with referrals - both internally and externally

  • Provide admin support to the multidisciplinary meetings

  • Ensure that systems are kept up to date to ensure accurate reporting
