Administrator (SCR Champion)

North Bridge House Nursery and Pre-Prep School is looking for an experienced, passionate, and supportive SCR Champion to join their team for a fixed-term maternity cover, starting ASAP until February 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong HR experience, especially within an educational setting, to play an integral role in the efficient operation of the school.,

• Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) in line with safeguarding regulations.
• Oversee recruitment processes including document verification, reference checks, and issuing necessary paperwork.
• Provide administrative support, including managing diaries and taking meeting minutes.
• Submit payroll-related documents such as absence reports, overtime, and expense claims.
• Update and maintain the training matrix by assigning appropriate training to staff.
• Handle day-to-day communication, including responding to emails and phone calls.
• Greet visitors and ensure correct lanyard issuance.
  
  Experienced in an administrative or HR role (preferably in a school setting).
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
• Right to work in the UK.
