Full Job Description
The post will involve reception duties, including meeting and greeting people and answering the telephone. The work is varied and includes reception duties, inputting to various databases, filing, photocopying and other general office duties.
The wheelchair service provides a specialist service in the Buckinghamshire locality to adults and children with long term mobility problems through the assessment, provision, and maintenance of equipment for specialist seating, mobility, and pressure care.
The service is provided by registered Occupational Therapists, who have recognised qualifications and experience in postural assessment and provision of wheelchairs for adults and children. The service is supported by trained engineers, technicians, volunteer, and administrators., + Provide high-quality administrative support, including managing correspondence, emails, and appointment bookings.
+ Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in line with NHS policies.
+ Liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to coordinate and manage clinical schedules.
+ Handle patient queries professionally and sensitively, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
+ Prepare documents, reports, and meeting minutes, supporting the team with all administrative needs.
+ Maintain databases and patient management systems, ensuring timely updates and data accuracy.
