An exciting opportunity has become available for an Advanced Clinical practitioner to join CNTW Eating Disorder Team and work across the provider Collaborative.
The Provider Collaborative for Adult Eating Disorders covers North East and North Cumbria. Including Inpatient units and Intensive Day Services in CNTW and TEWV.
MEED guidelines were published in 2022 by RCPsych, first definitive guideline for assessment and management of patients presenting with medical risk due to eating disorders. Recommendations include setting up local MEED oversight groups in order to jointly develop pathways and policies to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Implementation of these recommendations has been dependent on local interest and resources and is therefore inconsistent across the North East and North Cumbria. This is the first dedicated role to be funded for this purpose in this region., We aim to attract and retain a diverse, talented and committed workforce, who are caring and compassionate, and therefore able to meet the demands of the modern NHS now and in the future. In return we can offer a dynamic working environment in which to build a career.
