Our air operation based in Heathrow, London is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Air Freight Export Clerk to manage air export shipments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will oversee the entire export process, including completing Customs declarations, preparing Air Export documentation, and ensuring all shipments are successfully completed. Your efforts will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting business growth, and delivering excellent service to our clients.

This role will see you working 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 8am - 8pm.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP/Quotation ensuring efficient handling of all shipments.
Arrange transport for pick-ups and book with airlines.
Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
Complete export customs entries in accordance with compliance of HMRC.
Liaise with airlines, customers, suppliers and internal departments effectively.

Minimum of 1 year of airfreight operation knowledge.
Previous experience in aerospace or pharmaceutical air operations is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of customs clearance processes.
Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills.
