What you'll do As part of our dynamic team, we are seeking a talented Analytics Manager responsible for partnering with business for all Data & Analytics (D&A) related data products & reporting services delivered within Vodafone UK. As the Analytics Manager you will work closely with multiple business units such as Trading, Product, Base Marketing, Finance. Be the primary point of contact from collecting business requirements, define the agree on the priorities and define the delivery roadmap. You will also leverage business expertise and technical knowhow, so as to understand the objectives of these multiple business areas and establish the vision and roadmap on how our D&A capabilities can help them accelerate their business objectives.
- You will be the product owner of your squad and it will be your responsibility to understand and align with business priorities and matching to D&A capacity.
- Own the team backlog and will champion an agile mindset and ensure that your squads deliver in accordance to a regular sprint cadence, including resourcing, plans and prioritisation.
- Pro-actively work with the wider D&A team to drive cohesive solutions across all areas and to achieve effective use of our resources managed through Data and Analytics delivery squads, while identifying areas of opportunity where value can be added through experimenting and prototyping.
- Build trusted collaborative relationships with a wider variety of stakeholder with clear communications with senior stakeholders across business and IT.
- Provide day to day direction to your squad. Manage the outcomes of activities across a cross functional team consists of both offshore and onshore SMEs in their own area of expertise Who you are
- Demonstration of leading business value through promoting the benefits of Data & Analytics and the use of information to support business decision making, through high quality management information.
- Telecoms business acumen, commercial mind-set and understand financials with proven ability of capture, analyse and organise large volumes of demand and visualising and communicating data models to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven communication skills to manage stakeholders expectations and drive projects with the resilience of removing blockers and ambition to deliver in high quality. Highly numerate, analytical thinker
- Ability to identify opportunities, translate complex data into actionable insights and to uphold challenge and discussion with senior managers and stakeholders from across the business and third parties to support business decision making especially for Finance, Base Management teams.
