Full Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and visionary Product Manager to lead the development and management of our software products for credit risk analytics part of Experian Ascend Platform in the UK. In this critical role, you will work closely to our global team of analytics and engineer experts, being the voice for customer in the UK&I to define the strategy, drive the product roadmap, and ensure our analytics solutions meet the needs of our diverse client portfolio. Your expertise in credit risk and ability translate client needs and market trends into products that deliver business value will be pivotal in driving our success. You will work with great people with deep expertise and achievements on their fields like, data science, analytics and software engineering in the UK and around the world. You will work close to exciting clients on the financial services industry helping to constantly improve their outcomes and to deliver better outcomes to consumers. And you will lead products that are reshaping the financial services market providing to our customers unparallel value and agility to manage their credit risk operations by leveraging the most advanced data analytics and modelling techniques including AI.,

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Craft and communicate a strategic vision and comprehensive roadmap for our data analytics products, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
  • Market Research: Conduct deep market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes to inform product development.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers to understand their analytics needs and challenges, ensuring our products deliver maximum value.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to drive product development and launch.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Define, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for product enhancements, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies in data analytics.

    Established Product Manager with full lifecycle product management experience and classical product management frameworks e.g. Pragmatic
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A good understanding of how client insight should influence the development and innovation process
  • Proven track record of effective delivery in a fast-paced organization
  • Analytical knowledge and 'know how' to use data to influence decisions
  • Strong influencing skills and be able to interface with stakeholders across the business
  • Natural, energetic product enthusiasm - can create a vision and obtain others buy in and support
  • Strong leadership, project/time management and problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge and experience with Data Science and Analytics.
  • Knowledge and experience of Credit Risk across vertical markets including Banking, Financial, Debt Collection, Telco & Utility sectors
  • Great Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Strong research and product management skills would be an advantage
