Angular Developer - Greenfield Project - Investment Banking

Our investment banking client are seeking an Angular Developer for their Risk Systems team. This is an exciting greenfield project on the creation of the front-end of a new Credit Excess Management platform. You will lead on the E2E creation of the front-end for this complex application supported by the wider team. The role is a technical programming role, focusing on the user interface developments covering enhancement and changes for the strategic Credit risk platforms whilst ensuring compatibility with legacy tools. Working as part of an Agile team the candidate should have very strong development skills in Angular UI development (v13+ including Material and RxJS). Responsibilities of the role:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Integration server-side logic with front end code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Integration with a variety of data storage solutions.
• Be part of a growing team that is at the heart of our investment in regulatory and business driven change.
• Rapidly prototyping solutions to quickly prove/disprove new concepts.
• Be an active member of the Agile team and attend the whole process such as daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective discussion, demo, etc.
  
  Familiar with UI application design and architectural pattern.
• Excellent Angular with a good knowledge of its ecosystem (Material, TypeScript 4+, HTML5, SCCS, RxJS).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms.
• Able to incrementally deliver server-side applications to meet dynamic customer requirements.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Knack for writing clean and readable code and strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration Continuous delivery tools: Jenkins/TeamCity/ BitBucket/ Ansible.
