Annuity Product Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Annuity Product Manager to join M&G's Individual Products team. The Annuity Product Manager will be responsible for the development, management, and enhancement of annuity products. This role requires a deep understanding of the annuity market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across the M&G business.,

• Lead the development and enhancement of annuity products, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation.
• Develop product specifications, contribute to pricing strategies, and positioning to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Work closely with distribution, marketing, actuarial, legal, and compliance teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing management.
• Provide training and support to sales teams to enhance their understanding and promotion of annuity products.
• Monitor product performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and retention.
• Develop and manage products in line with Consumer Duty expectations.
  
  For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise.
• Annuity Product background is essential.
• Experience in other product ranges such as income drawdown and individual pensions an advantage.
• Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk.
• Balances competing requirements to deliver a balanced set of results, resolving significant or priority conflicts.
• Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture.
• Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output.
