Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the above post to work in our busy Accommodation Office with Residential & Sport Services. Reporting to the Accommodation Office Manager, the Applications Administrator will take the lead in managing applications and allocations for accommodation, primarily for those students who may need some extra support, for example those with medical conditions such as diabetes and those with more complex requirements such as wheelchair users. Attention to detail is key in this role, as is the ability to communicate with other various internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless accommodation experience for our students. The post will also assist with allocations across the wider student community as required and working alongside the rest of the Accommodation Office team manage enquiries from residents, prospective residents and their families. Residential & Sport Services offers accommodation for over 8600 students across 3 main accommodation sites. Our diverse population includes those attending a course in preparation for University study, undergraduates and post graduates from all over the world. In addition we offer a range of accommodation options during the summer vacation period.

Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role as well as excellent understanding of a variety of IT based systems.
